Ready or not, our first snow of the season is about here! It'll come in the form of a quick-hitting burst of moderate to heavy snow Thursday morning, beginning at the tail end of the AM commute and ending by the early afternoon hours. 1-3" is expected across northeastern IL, with localized higher amounts possible.
