Severe Weather Threat Friday/Friday Night⚡
As another storm system moves through the region, a severe weather threat will return to the state on Friday.
Scattered t’storm activity will move southward out of Wisconsin and into portions of Northern Illinois mid-late Friday morning. As this activity traverses portions of Northern Illinois through midday Friday, some severe weather threat is possible, isolated in coverage.
It is possible that some of this early activity may re-strengthen, while other scattered t’storm development occurs across portions of Southern Wisconsin, Northern Illinois and Eastern Iowa during Friday afternoon. This activity will then travel southeastward, affecting portions of Northern and Central Illinois from Friday afternoon into early Friday night. A severe weather threat will be possible with this activity, isolated in coverage.
