Heat Wave Continues Today 🌡️
Hot temperatures will further overspread the state today. The hottest temperatures will once again be across Northern Illinois, where afternoon highs will climb into the low to upper 90’s. Elsewhere across Central and Southern Illinois, high temperatures will range from the upper 80’s to low 90’s.
Humidity levels will increase slightly on today, with peak heat index values between the low 90’s to around 100° across much of the state, highest across Northern Illinois.
