•This Morning – Thursday Night, April 2nd: All of Illinois.

⚡️Hazards…
•A level 1 to 2 severe t’storm threat is in place across all of Illinois from Thursday morning through Thursday night, for the threat of isolated to widely scattered severe t’storms. Damaging winds, hail and a few tornadoes will all be threats. Some significant severe t’storms will be possible, capable of producing significant damaging winds (75MPH+) and/or corridors of damaging winds, and strong tornadoes.

•This Morning – Thursday Night… Widespread areas of showers and t’storms are ongoing across the state this morning, remnants of heavier overnight activity. As we push through the afternoon, some re-development of this activity will be expected across the state, some of which may pose a severe t’storm threat. Additionally, another round of showers and t’storms will develop during later this afternoon across Eastern Iowa, Eastern Missouri and Northwestern-Western-Southwestern Illinois. This activity will then traverse portions of Northern and Central Illinois into tonight, posing some severe t’storm threat.
