•A level 1 to 3 severe t’storm threat is in place across much of the state from Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday morning, for the threat of isolated to scattered severe t’storms. All modes of severe weather will be possible, including large hail, damaging winds and a few tornadoes.
✔️Summary…
•Scattered showers and t’storms are expected to develop on Tuesday afternoon in the vicinity of a warm front across portions of Northern and Central Illinois, as well as along an advancing cold front from Missouri down in to the Southern Plains. Activity in both corridors will traverse the state from Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday morning. Severe t’storms can be expected with some of this activity, with isolated to scattered coverage expected across outlooked areas. All modes of severe weather look possible as well.
