•Monday Midday – Tuesday Morning, August 18-19th: Northern & Central Illinois.
Impacts…
•A level 1 to 2 severe t’storm threat is in place across Northern and portions of Central Illinois, for the threat of isolated to widely scattered severe t’storms. Damaging winds, hail and an isolated tornado will be the threats with activity.
Discussion…
•The remnant southern extent of an MCS will skirt eastward along the IL/WI border from midday Monday through Monday afternoon. Additionally, scattered t’storm development will occur Monday afternoon from Eastern Iowa into Northern Illinois. This activity will then traverse Northern and portions of Central Illinois, from Monday afternoon through Monday night. Severe t’storms will be possible with some of this activity.
