•A level 1 severe t’storm threat is in place across portions of Northern and Central Illinois, for the threat of isolated severe t’storms. Damaging winds and hail will be the main threats with activity.
Discussion…
•A few isolated showers/t’storms may be ongoing across portions of Central and Southern Illinois on Thursday morning. Of greater focus will be a disturbance or two moving through the region, which will lead to the conditional potential of scattered showers/t’storms on Thursday afternoon and evening across portions of Northern Illinois. This activity may also expand into Central Illinois, as it continues into Thursday night. Severe t’storms may be possible with some of this activity.
