•A level 1 severe t’storm threat is in place across portions of Northwestern and Western Illinois from Tuesday morning through Wednesday morning, for the threat of isolated severe t’storms. Damaging winds will be the main threat with activity.

•Tuesday Morning – Wednesday Morning… While a few isolated to scattered showers and t’storms may dot the state between this afternoon and tonight, the main focus will be a large complex of rain and t’storm activity that will track across Iowa and Missouri, which will move into Northwestern and Western Illinois late tonight or early Wednesday morning. Severe t’storms may be possible with some of this activity.
•Wednesday Morning – Thursday Morning… A large complex of rain and t’storm activity will be ongoing across portions of Northwestern Illinois on Wednesday morning. This activity will then track across portions of Northern and Central Illinois into Wednesday afternoon and evening. Additional development of scattered rain and t’storms will also occur south of the main complex, then affecting portions of Central and Southern Illinois, from Wednesday afternoon through Wednesday night. Severe t’storms may be possible with some of this activity.
