•A ridge will continue to be established across the Central U.S., before breaking down later this week. This ridge will continue to bring a multi-day period of hot and humid conditions to the state through Friday. A few days will feature rain/t’storm chances, which will temper conditions at times for some areas. The most widespread and oppressively hot and humid conditions will continue Tuesday across the state, when widespread temperatures are expected to be in the mid 90’s to around 100 and widespread heat index values of 100-115 will be likely.
