•A developing ridge across the Central U.S. this weekend will become established for a time, before breaking down later this upcoming week. This ridge will continue to bring a multi-day period of hot and humid conditions to the state through Thursday. The most widespread and oppressively hot and humid conditions will likely be on Monday and Tuesday across the state, when widespread temperatures are expected to be in the mid 90’s to around 100 and widespread heat index values of 100-110 will be likely.
